This chisel is single-pronged and has a very sharp blade, which even in thick leather leaves perfect stitching holes. As it has a single prong, it is particularly suitable for corners or leather that does not have straight edges. To drive the chisel through the leather, it must be hammered with a rawhide maul or mallet, as these do not damage the metal of the chisel and at the same time provide a nice shock absorption.
